Registry data

Getting data back from the registry is very important to vaccination providers. While state registries usually concentrate their effort on collecting data they can sometimes forget the importance of sending data back.

The demand for data back is currently low because most vaccination providers do not have systems capable of processing that data. But those who can expect to be able to get data back.

It is important that registries do the following:
  1. Allow providers to receive immunization updates for their patients, as determined by the registry.
  2. Provide a support for the providers EMR.
Registries who do support this process will see greater buy-in and participation from providers.
