Yesterday I spoke with InterSystems about Caché. Previousily it was called MUMPS. Caché is an integrated programming language and database. There are several different versions out there but many of them have been purchased by InterSystems.
There are a lot of health care applications that use MUMPS/Caché, including RPMS (used by Indian Health Services), Epic Systems, and VaVISTA.
